I made a few accounts on some dating sites and used tinder but I barely get a match a month, if any for that reason. I consider myself to be average looking and my best pic is a few years old. I didn't wear glasses at that point and I'm using that since I'm not photogenic as many people think.
So I'm having problems getting to second or third dates. I usually want to get o know someone before i get her out to a date. My only problem here is that I like redheads, honestly appearance doesn't really matter if she's a redhead, that and her personality. There were a few times girls practically dragged me to a date or pointed in a very obvious way. I learned to stay away from those since they're not what I'm looking for. Also I can't stand party girls or drinkers, for those I met, there always has to be something fun to be around.

Yea I’m thinking of moving to Fort Worth? I’m from Atlanta and the whole vibe of dating is different in my opinion. Especially black women. Southern women are less likely to “ spend a bag”. But yea Dallas is close to fort. I don’t wanna be to far from a major city. But I want the slowness of the burbs. I can only anticipate the response this will get. I'm a tiny bit on the introverted side so I'm not great at meeting girls at bars, and I've also grown to really dislike dating apps, so I've turned to Reddit for a good old fashioned blind date. Hit me up just to chat. I can find a way to verify that I'm a normal guy through PM. How is the dating scene like in Atlanta? I will be moving to Atlanta from Austin because I got offered a good position there, in my mid 20s right now. Do not want to give away too much about myself but I was curious about the dating scene there.
So usually i want to get to know her, if we click together, before asking for her fb or phone number. As soon as I get to that i set up a date, a place we can talk or something we would both like. I like finding a place where we could talk. The problem is that after the first date talking worsens, we have less and less to talk about and it gets to a point where we just say good morning ask about how the day was and then the conversation dies.
I have no idea why I'm not getting to second or third date. Some help?
Just curious how other singles perceive and experience the dating scene in Atlanta. News reports always seem to be a bit mixed from:

Also, just for fun - what are your go-to date spots? I'm guilty of frequenting the same spots, especially for first dates, again and again.
